Bak-truppen (the rear-guard) is a group of Norwegians who live different lives in different places: Bergen, Oslo, Lillehammer and Amsterdam. We come together (since 1986) to produce performable material and related stuff: photo, video, books. Bak-truppen likes to appear in various public spaces and connections, and what we make is highly dependent on site, time, invitation, social potentials, etc. Bak-truppen works more or less like a band; collective, on pleasure.
